Our Director of Nursing, Donna Campbell, reported amazing results about medication reduction with residents inThe Josephine Memory Care Center with the implementation of the behavior based ergonomic program.
Over the past 8 months, 6 out of 12 residents withAlzheimer’s and/or dementia had a significant reduction with the use pain and behavioral medications, and 3 of them are no longer taking medications for behavior at all.
All the residents have an increased interest in activities and social interactions with family and other residents. We believe these results are evidence of the compassion, hard work and commitment of the staff and our behavior based ergonomics program.

The Josephine Memory Care Center was officially dedicated on September 21, 2011 in memory of Josephine Williams, the loving mother of Barry Humphries, owner of 10 Wilmington Place.
Josephine battled Alzheimer’s disease for 14 years until the age of 77. The Josephine Memory Care Center is dedicated to providing loving and professional care for those suffering from memory loss.
10 Wilmington Place has earned another deficiency free survey from the Ohio Dept. of Health. This is the 8th consecutive year that we have received this distinction.
The rating was awarded following an unannounced on-site survey that reviewed the facility’s overall quality of care, adherence to state health requirements and implemented procedures.
10 Wilmington Place congratulates our staff for achieving this goal. Keep up the excellent work!
